The Standard Double Room had a decent size for a solo traveler, and I appreciated the kettle available for a quick brew. There's a great vibe in the area with a pub garden right below.
The bed felt too low and hard, which wasn't great for my sciatica. I noticed a lack of basic toiletries, with only three bottles of conditioner. Curtains let in too much light from the garden, making for an early wake-up call. There were disruptive noises, like a boiler firing up at 5 am and an echoing dripping from the wall, which really messed with my sleep.

Charming vibes in Wallingford 🌉✨
The decor is a lekker mix of modern and rustic, made my stay feel super cozy. Staff were proper chommies, always keen to help. Brekkie was surprisingly good and half price for us residents!
Bit noisy from the traffic outside, but it was kinda manageable.

I had a lovely time in this nice little hotel! The staff were proper friendly and the room was spacious with a decent kettle for my cuppa. Only downside was the window let a bit of noise in from the road. But it didn't spoil the fun!

The Deluxe Double Room was quite rustic, which I loved. The bed was super comfy, perfect for relaxing after exploring. There’s good coffee and tea facilities too. Just a heads up, there's some traffic noise from the main road since it's an older building. The breakfast was decent at half price, and the bar had some fun games. All in all, quirky vibes with a cozy feel!
